Our technology range was later supplemented by ANT+, Thread and Zigbee, and in 2018 we launched our low power, compact LTE-M/NB-IoT cellular IoT solutions to extend the penetration of the IoT. The Nordic portfolio was further complemented by Wi-Fi technology in 2021.
Nordic Semiconductor is seeking a new colleague to our People & Culture team. As HR Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with our Norway-based operations, supporting and advising the EVP and management team of our Short-Range Business unit. As HR Business Partner, your main responsibilities will be to:

Provide valuable advice and strategic guidance to the line management, focusing on organizational excellence and compliance, as well as attracting and retaining top talents.

Direct HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement, align with Nordic's strategy, and support the company's growth objectives.

Offer active, strategic support for organizational planning, ensuring HR priorities align with key business goals.

Contribute to fostering a customer-focuset HR team that builds trust, delicers operational excellence, and provides effective coaching to stakeholders.

Develop the team's capabilities and collaboration, working with the broader People & Culture team to ensure a cohesive, locally relevant Nordic approach.

Monitor key performance indicators, participate in People & Culture management discussions, and maintain strong relationships with employee representatives.

Promote clear, effective communication and cooperation across the team and organization.
The role reports to our SVP People & Culture, based in Oulu, Finland, and will also collaborate closely with local management based in Trondheim, including our CEO.
What we're looking for:
We believe that the right candidate will identify with several of the following requirements and competencies:

Several years of experience from HR Management roles and a demonstrated ability to link HR strategies to business goals.

Ability to collaborate and build trust based relations with colleagues on all levels through a combination of human capital expertise and organizational insight.

Strong knowledge of Norwegian employment law.

Business and solution oriented with a global mindset and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Great spoken and written English.

Ideally you are able to speak and write Norwegian fluently, but we urge non-native speakers with B2 level or above to apply, as long as you are motivated to work towards becoming fluent.

University level education within HR, business management or similar.
