Nordic Semiconductor is a Norwegian fabless semiconductor company specializing in wireless communication technology that powers the Internet of Things (IoT). Nordic was established in 1983 and has about 1400 employees across the globe. Our award-winning Bluetooth Low Energy solutions pioneered ultra-low power wireless, making us the global market leader. Our technology range was later supplemented by ANT+, Thread and Zigbee, and in 2018 we launched our low power, compact LTE-M/NB-IoT cellular IoT solutions to extend the penetration of the IoT. The Nordic portfolio was further complemented by Wi-Fi technology in 2021.
Nordic Semiconductor is seeking a new colleague for our People & Culture team. As Head of People Partners, you will lead a global team of motivated HR business partners and HR advisors. You will be responsible for developing and enabling the team to operate as trusted advisors and business partners to the company’s management, functioning as experts on people and organizational issues. You will also serve as the main strategic business partner to senior leaders in our Oslo-based operations. If you are a seasoned HR leader ready for a challenging and influential role in one of Norway’s leading tech companies, we hope to hear from you!
As Head of People Partners, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the global People Partners team to act as trusted strategic advisors and business partners to senior leadership and functional executives
- Serve as the HR business partner for Oslo-based leaders in key business units
- Ensure HR strategies, initiatives, and costs align with Nordic’s overall strategy, goals, core purpose, and business growth objectives
- Provide proactive strategic guidance on organizational planning, development, employee engagement, and change initiatives
- Foster cross-functional partnerships, monitor key performance indicators, and maintain effective relationships with employee representatives and the wider People & Culture team
- Promote flawless communication, trust, and a cohesive yet locally relevant Nordic HR approach across the organization
The role reports to our SVP People & Culture and is a key member of the People & Culture management team.

- Experience in growing global organizations, preferably in engineering-heavy or tech industries, with multi-company background
- Strong knowledge of Norwegian employment law and procedures
- Solid leadership experience, including developing teams and driving successful deliveries
- Business-oriented with a global mindset, strong influencing and relationship-building skills in multicultural environments
